About the position
The consultant will work with the Finance Department of the Ministry of Health and other structural units, and, if necessary, with the Medical Procurement of Ukraine, in order to strengthen the analytical capabilities in the field of centralized procurement of medicines and medical devices.
The main task is to provide information and analytical support for making informed management decisions, to strengthen the transparency of procurement processes and to increase the efficiency of the use of budget funds.
Main areas of work
- conducting an analytical assessment of centralized procurement processes at the national and regional levels;
- preparation of analytical materials, reports and summaries for the management of the Ministry of Health;
- support for the analysis of needs, procurement volumes, distribution and balances;
- participation in the development of recommendations to increase the efficiency and transparency of procurement processes;
- coordination with the relevant departments of the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders on procurement analytics;
- preparation of monthly reports on the conducted analytical and coordination
Requirements for candidates
- Higher education (economics, finance, public administration, supply chain management or other relevant field);
- Understanding of public procurement and budgeting processes;
- Experience in analytical work and preparation of reporting materials;
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and form practical recommendations;
- Confident MS Office user (preferably with advanced Excel skills);
- Experience of interaction with government agencies will be an advantage;
- Location: Kyiv.
