Center of Excellence Credit Management Capability Lead in ABB

As Center of Excellence Credit Management Capability Lead you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of a team of Credit Specialists responsible for a credit risk mitigation according to global policy and direction from Global Credit Risk Management. Providing an authorized approval for the release of credit blocked orders and taking credit decisions is expected.

Your Responsibilities:

• Working together with Cluster Credit Managers, Global Credit Risk Management, other O2C teams and business divisions to achieve a common goal
• Efficient and effective management of a team of Credit Specialists
• A proper credit risk mitigation
• Quick and professional response to changes in the financial situation of ABB customers
• An appropriate satisfaction of Business needs
• High precision of credit recommendations prepared for Business
• Maintaining a high level of assertiveness and having strong abilities for business negotiations and solving issues
• Monitoring compliance to Global Credit Policy

Your Background:

• At least 3-4 years of experience in team management and 5-7 years’ experience in credit analysis or credit control, acting as Senior Credit Specialist/Team Leader Credit Management or similar role in a global organization
• Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting or Financial Audit
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• An ability of analyzing financial reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement and credit bureau reports
• Fluent communication in English (good knowledge of other European language would be an asset)
• A knowledge of SAP4HANA will be an asset
• Professional credit risk certification will be an asset
