"Tenth of April" is a non-governmental organization that works to improve the protection of the population affected by the conflict by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promotes legislative changes, involves communities in responding to emergency situations and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with and with the support of authorities potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.
In partnership with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF), we are implementing a project aimed at ensuring safe, decent and affordable reception and accommodation conditions for evacuees and internally displaced persons with impaired mobility, older people and people with disabilities in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

Responsibilities:
Perform primary identification of places of accommodation of internally displaced persons (IDPs);
Conduct monitoring and assessment of current needs to improve the conditions of stay of IDPs in places of accommodation (including living conditions and other humanitarian needs in the Centers);
Conduct the formation, processing of cases and document management in accordance with the established methodology;
Ensure the selection, updating and addition of information on the availability and accessibility of services for beneficiaries within the project;
Make regular visits to centers/places of accommodation of aid recipients in order to fulfill assigned duties;
Issuance of humanitarian and other non-food aid in accordance with the established methodology, with the availability of appropriate resources;
To carry out general monitoring of the implementation of the rights and freedoms of target categories, to identify cases of discriminatory treatment of aid recipients;
Participate in meetings, meetings, committee meetings related to the implementation of the project, as instructed by the management;
Provide daily reporting on the results of their activities, as well as other reporting in accordance with the schedule established by the Project Manager "Protection of Internally Displaced Persons, Persons Affected by Conflict, and Community Empowerment" or the President of the Organization.
Requirements for the candidate:
Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences or other relevant field.
Experience in humanitarian projects is welcome.
Knowledge of the spoken and written Ukrainian language.
Knowledge of spoken and written English is welcome.
Excellent computer skills (must be MS Office).
Readiness for business trip.
Ability to listen to understand the needs, requirements and preferences of individuals and project stakeholders.
Stress resistance and psychological maturity for working with vulnerable categories of citizens.
Tolerant behavior aimed at respecting people of different cultures, ages, genders, races, religions, traditions.
Critical thinking to objectively analyze needs and benefits and find the best solution.
