Category manager (non-food) in Novus

The NOVUS company — a modern Ukrainian trade network with 100% Lithuanian investment invites a Category Manager (non food: textiles, tableware, socks, candles) to its team.

Main responsibilities:

• Market and consumer analysis;
• Market monitoring: analysis of competitors, trends, and pricing policy in its category;
• Study of consumer demand and purchasing behavior of customers, collecting feedback;
• Formation of the assortment;
• Strategy development: determining which products should be in the assortment and which should not;
• Search and negotiations with suppliers: selection of the best suppliers, agreement on terms of cooperation, purchase prices, discounts and delivery dates;
• Product life cycle management: introduction of new products, removing ineffective items from sale;
• Pricing and promotion management;
• Pricing policy: developing optimal prices to remain competitive and profitable;
• Marketing and promotions: planning and coordination of advertising campaigns, promotions, loyalty programs to stimulate sales.

Our wishes for candidates:

• negotiation skills with suppliers;
• experience with software products: Excel, 1C, SAP, Qlik View;
• knowledge of the market situation, pricing procedure, taxation;
• knowledge of the procedure for concluding and drawing up marketing and supply contracts;
• forms and methods of running advertising companies;
• higher education;
• 3 years of experience as a category manager.
