We invite a category manager to join our team.

You will do:

• Develop a product category (groceries);
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers, conclude contracts for the supply of goods to stores in accordance with company standards and requirements;
• Develop marketing activities;
• Resolve debatable issues with suppliers regarding terms of delivery, documents, payment;
• Monitor prices of competitors, prices of suppliers;
• Participate in the formation of price policy;
• Control the receipt of goods from suppliers (dealing with complaints, returns, reordering and undersupply);
• Create and control planograms of the trading floor, plan promotional activities of the category;
• To fulfill the planned direction indicators (turnover, mark-up, turnover, write-off).

What we expect from the candidate:

• Higher education;
• Knowledge of the assortment and skills in forming the assortment of the product group;  
• Know the theories and practices of product category management, pricing methods;
• Experience in conducting negotiations with suppliers of varying degrees of complexity;
• PC skills at the level of a confident user, knowledge of 1C and Excel.
