Category manager in EDS Group

The main objective of the position:

Implementation of the plan for sales, turnover and gross profit in the category.

Main responsibilities:

• Formation of product matrices (price, method of sale, development of quotas...).
• Full control over the procurement process by product (determines the purchasing policy regarding products and suppliers) and the availability of products
• Taking measures for emergency replenishment of stocks in the event of a supply disruption or shortage of goods on the market
• Control of warehouse balances, expiration dates and turnover of products
• Analysis of the effectiveness of various product groups/events/sales, preparation of sales rate forecasts
• Conducting sales, launching advertising campaigns
• Selection and conducting negotiations with suppliers, improving commercial conditions.

Requirements:

• Experience in the field of non-food products (preferably chain or specialized retail) as a category manager/category manager
• Knowledge in commodity science, marketing, merchandising. Knowledge of the principles of ETS.
• Analytical mindset
• A confident user of Excel, 1-C.
