The East SOS charity fund has been uniting those who care about the future of Ukraine since 2014. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, we have significantly expanded our activities in order to save as many victims of Russian aggression as possible. We help the population in all government-controlled territories: we evacuate and resettle, repair shelters and centers for displaced persons, document crimes, implement educational programs, provide charitable assistance, monitoring visits, we advocate for changes, we provide legal and psychological consultations. Mobile psychosocial support teams and safe spaces operate in different regions of the country.

We are looking case manager:
Kharkov city, offline;
emergency response;
Tasks:
Case management in temporary shelters and communities:
conducting individual consultations with people who are in difficult life circumstances;
identification of the needs of victims;
redirection to partner organizations, services and programs according to the request;
maintenance of case documentation in compliance with the principles of confidentiality and ethics.
2. Emergency response and information:
participation in emergency response trips;
providing initial support to people affected by crisis events;
psychological first aid and basic psychosocial counseling;
trips to frontline communities to inform the population about evacuation and further support opportunities.
3. Transit centers (the cities of Kharkiv and Lozova):
conducting initial meetings with evacuees;
consulting on social rights, benefits and available services;
accompanying people in crisis and coordinating further support.
4. Space of psychosocial and legal support "Zatyshno space" from BF "East SOS":
individual and group counseling;
preparation and holding of social events;
creating a supportive and safe environment for visitors.
We expect:
experience in the field of social work, case management or related 2+ years;
higher education in social work, psychology or related fields;
experience in counseling people who have experienced traumatic events or belong to vulnerable groups;
knowledge of current legislation in the field of social protection and human rights;
documentation and reporting skills;
compliance with professional ethics and confidentiality;
willingness to study, participate in trainings and supervisions;
having a driver's license will be an advantage.
