Project name:Provision of safe, decent housing and specialized services for the most vulnerable IDPs in Odesa and Mykolayiv regions">Organization:

In partnership with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF), we are implementing a project aimed at ensuring safe, dignified and affordable reception and accommodation conditions for evacuees and internally displaced persons with mobility impairments, older people and persons with disabilities in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

Identification and assessment of needs:

  • Perform initial identification of aid recipients (in particular, internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups)

  • Use standardized forms for collection data on the needs of beneficiaries.

  • Conduct individual needs assessments, identify vulnerabilities and risks.

Provide individual support to government institutions and other services.

  • Advise beneficiaries of the necessary services.
  • Redirect the beneficiaries of the project (psychologists, social workers, etc.).

  • 400; font-style: none 400; text-decoration: none">Monitoring the needs of the beneficiaries. none">Participate in security monitoring activities.

    Workin the community and coordination:

    • Interact with representatives of authorities, enterprises, institutions, organizations, activists and communities to exchange information and establish effective cooperation.

    Reporting and administration:

    • Report on the execution of tasks in a timely manner.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's degree in the humanities, social sciences or other relevant field. style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">

      Experience in humanitarian projects is welcome.

    • Experience in providing individual consultations.

    • Experience and willingness to work with internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other vulnerable groups.

    • Fluency in the Ukrainian language (oral and written).

    • Knowledge of the English language (oral and written) is an advantage.

    • Readiness for business trips within region.

    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt.

    • The ability to solve tasks and project objectives.

    • Psychological stability and ability to work in stressful conditions.

    • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with different groups of beneficiaries.

    • Knowledge of the local context or experience in the region of implementation of the project.

    • Willingness to participate in professional development and training events for professional development.
