Our programs are designed to map not just with skills, but with actual job roles trending in the market across four prominent areas – Software engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data scienceLink to our Website: https://stackroutelearning.com/Link to our LinkedIn Page : https://www.linkedin.com/company/stackroutelearning/Job role - Career Services Advisor (Compliance)Job Description:As a Career Services Advisor at StackRoute Learning, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to students in their career development journey specific to their bootcamp needs.This includes conducting one-on-one sessions to discuss individual career goals and create personalized action plans based on career service assignments.Additionally, you will track workshop attendance and assignment completion to ensure students meet deadlines and offer guidance on resume and cover letter formatting, emphasizing strengths and accomplishments tailored to desired roles.You will review and edit resumes, provide strategies for addressing employment gaps, and help students articulate their career goals in cover letters and interviews.Moreover, you will assist in optimizing LinkedIn profiles, offering networking tips, conducting mock interviews, and guiding students in creating digital portfolios to showcase their skills effectively. Your role will focus on continuous improvement, supporting students in building confidence and communication skills, and providing white-glove service throughout their job search process. The ultimate goal for a Career Services Advisor is to support learners in job placement following bootcamp completion.This position will also develop, maintain, and deliver placement, retention, and graduation reporting on an as needed basis.Duties & Responsibilities:Create, maintain and deliver required compliance reporting to local, state, and federal agencies related to participating funding programsUnderstand and predict regulatory requirements to stay in front of coming changes to compliance requirementsCreate, maintain, and deliver placement and outcomes reporting to partner employers used for job placementCareer Service Advisors will organize and facilitate workshops covering resume writing, cover letter crafting, LinkedIn profile optimization, and mock interviews while providing exceptional service throughout your engagement.Curate job listings tailored to student's skills and interests, offer guidance on negotiating job offers and salary discussions, and stay updated on industry trends and job market demands to provide relevant advice.Develop and maintain resources, including handouts, guides, and templates, to help students complete assignments and create portfolios that display their accomplishments.Ensure timely completion of all student assignments so that we can curate interviews for each student within six months of graduation from the bootcamp.Ideate, develop, maintain, and deliver reporting needed to remain compliant with funding programs at the state and federal levels.Qualifications/Requirements: An undergraduate degree or comparable higher education and work experience with non-traditional learners are required.NIIT is an equal opportunity employer.
