GENERAL INFORMATION
One of the main areas of work of the BF "Right to Protection" is the integration of IDPs into new communities for the development of both the IDPs themselves and the settlements that host them. The Response Consortium is implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian aid program for the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The
Goal is to strengthen people's resilience and ability to overcome the consequences of war through timely access to multisectoral support and quality information management. The target groups are internally displaced persons, people affected by the war, returnees after the reduction of the intensity of hostilities, with the priority of supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities.
The geography of implementation is urban and remote rural communities of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. The component of increasing economic capacity is implemented in Poltava, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
BF "Pravo na skhet" is looking for a candidate for the position of Career development specialist/position in the city of Sumy.
DUTIES AND TASKS
- Individual work with beneficiaries of the project to improve their competences in writing resumes, self-presentation, job search and applying for employment or self-employment;
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with employment centers, social service centers, places of temporary residence of beneficiaries, non-governmental public organizations, various socially responsible companies, employers and other stakeholders in the areas identified by the project localities;
- Establishing and continuously expanding the base of employers for the employment of beneficiaries;
- Individual and group work with beneficiaries in order to prepare them for employment or self-employment, including:
- Teaching basic skills of interaction with employers (for example, correct resume writing; understanding employer expectations, communication with employers, etc.);
- Search assistance vacancies and opportunities for self-development;
- Support in the process of applying for employment;
- Introduction to ways of starting one's own business;
- Mentoring of beneficiaries after employment to solve problematic issues and ensure permanent employmentyou;
- Conducting trainings, information sessions and presentations for beneficiaries, which would contribute to solving their requests;
- Ensuring the maintenance of complete, thorough, accurate documentation in a proper manner in accordance with legal norms and rules of ethics;
- Ensuring the accuracy, content and timeliness of statistical and analytical reports, and other relevant work documents.
- Understanding and compliance with the Code of Conduct and other Foundation policies.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Higher education in the field of economics, socio-economic development, business administration, social work, psychology or in another related field;
- Desirable work experience in the field of career counseling, recruiting, management by personnel (HR);
- Readiness for regular trips to the areas defined by the project;
- Orientation to the needs of beneficiaries, politeness, tact and diplomacy in communication;
- Performance of professional duties in compliance with the principles of gender and age sensitivity, as well as a policy of zero tolerance for sexual harassment;
- Freedom in the Ukrainian language (oral and written);
- Experience working with evacuees, internally displaced persons and/or other vulnerable groups and communities will be an advantage;
- Confident command of computer programs MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace tools;
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with by other members of the project team;
- Developed analytical skills and attention to detail;
- High level of self-motivation and responsibility;
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing working conditions.
