GENERAL INFORMATION consequences One of the main areas of work of the BF "Right to Protection" is the integration of IDPs into new communities for the development of both the IDPs themselves and the settlements that host them. Within the framework of the project and the Program "Increasing the economic inclusion of IDPs and the affected population" career support is provided, they are provided with support in finding a job, changing or resuming professional activity, increasing competitiveness on the labor market. to the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine", which is implemented under the coordination of the international humanitarian organization AKTED, and focuses its attention on the mechanisms of protection of the population affected by the conflict and IDPs in the target regions. 

The goal of the project is to strengthen the resilience and resilience of people affected by the conflict in Ukraine through timely access to multisectoral humanitarian aid and information management support. 

The project provides integration activities in selected communities of the target regions with the aim of improving the psycho-emotional state of the beneficiaries and increasing the level of social cohesion in the partner communities.

The target audience of the project activities are elderly people and people with disabilities living in the communities of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

The project is looking for a candidate for the positionCareer development specialist in Odessa region.

DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Individual work with the project's beneficiaries in writing a resume, finding a job or applying for self-employment;" none">Establishing and maintaining contacts with employment centers, centers for the provision of social services, places of temporary residence of beneficiaries, non-governmental public organizations, various socially responsible companies, employers and other stakeholdersin areas defined by the project;

  • Creation and permanent expansion of the base of employers for employment of beneficiaries;

  • Individual and group work with the purpose of employment or self-employment:

  • none">Education of basic skills of interaction with employers (for example, understanding employers' expectations, etc.);

  • Help in finding vacancies;

    Conducting trainings, information sessions and presentations for beneficiaries, which would contribute to solving their requests;

  • Higher education in economics, socio-economic development, business administration, social work, psychology or another related field;

  • Preferred work experience in the fieldcareer consulting, recruiting, personnel management (HR);

  • Readiness for regular visits to areas defined by the project;

  • Orientation to the needs of the beneficiaries, politeness, tact and diplomacy in communication;

  • Execution of professional duties in accordance with the principles of gender and age sensitivity, as well as a policy of zero tolerance for sexual harassment;

  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language (oral and written);

  • Experience working with evacuees, internally displaced persons and/or other vulnerable groups and communities will be an advantage;

  • Proficient in computer programs MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace tools;

  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines;

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with other project team members;

  • Developed analytical skills and attention to detail;

  • High level of self-motivation and responsibility;

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing working conditions;

  • Understanding and following the Foundation's Code of Conduct and other policies.
