We are looking for professional Calypso DevOps Support Engineer with over 8 years of experience in support activities , specialized in Calypso application versions V16 and V17, and with a strong background in investment and trading banking operations.

Expected competences and knowledge

  • 8+ years experience in support activity overall
  • Knowledge on  Calypso application (at least version V16 and V17) for 4+ Years with 2-3 years of experience in investment/trading Banking Operations
  • ITIL certification V3 or V4
  • Strong knowledge in  XML, SQL, PL/SQL , MQ Series, CFT and Control-M.
  • Knowledge of  monitoring solution (e.g. CalMon, Splunk)
  • Ability to follow, scale the skill matrix
  • A pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service
  • Fulent  English (both speaking and writing)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of major market regulatory bodys rules
  • Exposure to Capital Markets applications (Calypso must have, different e.g. Murex)
  • Knowledge in Capital Market FO/ BO environment

,[Cover daily operations on Production and Pre-Production on Calypso (app code CALY) application, Responsiblity for answering Business requests via email, performing daily monitoring of CalMON system and completing the daily sanity checks on Calypso application, Engagement in in-depth technical troubleshooting with Calypso teams and teams outside Calypso project, Provide functional and technical expertise on Calypso from both Front Office and Back Office perspective, Requests management (users and others IT teams), Operations management, Application monitoring, Incident management, Problem management, Continuous service improvement: EOD job flow monitoring, update and create documentation, be a part of shift schedule and participate in daily meetings]

Requirements: Calypso, ITIL, XML, SQL, IBM MQ, Control-M, Splunk, PL/SQL
Tools: Agile, Scrum.
