C for Unix Developer Lviv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, remotely Required skills We are looking for programmers who can help us provide our customers with advanced multi-functional software that meets the needs of customers in terms of functionality, security, and security. We develop and support a suite of blood management solutions for one of the world's leaders in laboratory and transfusion medicine management systems. You will be involved in: • researching legacy C code to understand how it works to solve problems, find ways to include new features; • development of new functions; • maintaining a set of products; • providing support to our customers. Our solutions are based on the following technologies: • business logic in plain C; • our own text interface ported to a GUI interface and a web interface; • Oracle/dbVista databases; • C/C++SOAP web services based on the gSOAP toolkit. Basic requirements: • Higher technical education: bachelor's degree or higher; • Experience as a C programmer: from 2 years in an environment with established development procedures; • Ability to read and understand old C source code to find errors and integrate new functions; • Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, ability to work independently, and to be a team player; • Excellent troubleshooting skills; • Responsibility, focus on results, teamwork, attentiveness, ability to learn quickly; • Good command of the English language (oral, written).
