We are looking for an experienced C++ Development Engineer to join a global engineering and manufacturing leader in technology that does cool stuff that matters. In this role you will focus on software development for our satellite based positioning service software solutions. You will have the opportunity to solve challenging problems related to enabling high capacity, high reliability, scalability, and configurability. Your technical expertise will support our business initiatives and impact the end-user’s experience. You will be working in an international environment using the latest cutting-edge technologies that are the backbone of Hexagon's 24/7 HxGN SmartNet correction services.

This is you

• Professional experience in software development in C++11 or higher with Boost libraries and Conan package management system
• Proven experience in multithreaded applications, distributed systems, and networking
• Ability to program on Windows systems with Visual Studio knowledge of git versioning system and Python scripting environment
• An open communicator, a team player in an international environment, and a proactive mentality
• Passionate about software and recent innovations
• Optional experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestrator, and TeamCity CI/CD
• Having experience in leading a team would be beneficial
• Fluent in English (written &spoken), German is a plus
