The project is an e-commerce website, a marketplace that offers customers the opportunity to rent certain types of durable goods with the right to buy and provides microcredit services for the convenience of customers.

🏆 Our candidate:

We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Technical Writer. Our candidate will be crucial in aligning our codebase with essential documentation, reverse engineering our current system for clear documentation of existing features and new feature specifications. This documentation will be pivotal for project evolution, guiding all stakeholders, including project management, development, QA, and support teams.

💻 Key Responsibilities:

▪ Conduct an in-depth analysis of our current codebase and infrastructure to comprehend and document existing functionalities and system architecture.

▪ Partner closely with the development team to reverse engineer features and procedures, guaranteeing accurate representation in the documentation.

▪ Create and upkeep clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation, encompassing system specifications, process flows, and feature descriptions.

▪ Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to pinpoint and document requirements for new features and system improvements.

▪ Ensure all technical documentation maintains consistency, is easily understandable, and acts as a dependable source of information for internal teams.

▪ Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions between technical and non-technical team members, ensuring comprehension and alignment with documented processes and features.

👍 Requirements:

▪ 5+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst.

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

▪ Proficient in software development processes and methodologies, with the capability to comprehend code (familiarity with microservices architecture is advantageous).

▪ Strong communication and collaboration skills, adept at simplifying intricate technical concepts for easy comprehension.

▪ Proficiency with documentation tools and software (e.g., Confluence, Markdown, etc.).

▪ Strong command of spoken and written English.

▪ Ability to work in the evening hours (approximately until 7-8 p.m.). A customer is from the USA and the first 3 to 6 months we have a lot to clean up.

➕ Will be a plus: ▪ 2+ years of work experience as a QA Engineer.
