The business analyst acts as a key link between the customer and the technical team. It forms an understanding of business needs, describes processes, offers optimization and ensures the correct statement of requirements for the implementation of PSIM Nembus.
Main tasks:
1. Interaction with the customer at the presale stage:
- Collection of information about existing physical security systems (vendors, quantity, response regulations).
- Definition of business problems that these systems solve.
- Analysis of current business processes and response logic.
- Design of future processes in PSIM (automation, optimization).
- Consulting for the customer in cases where the processes are not described or are absent.
2. Process analysis and consulting:
- Description of AS-IS processes, identification of inefficiencies.
- Formation of TO-BE processes and automation scenarios.
- Development of SOP and response logic for PSIM.
3. Analysis of the technical feasibility of integrations:
- Studying the technical possibilities of connecting external systems.
- Interaction with third parties (for example, ), definition of event transfer formats.
- Analysis of available protocols, API, SDK.
4. Interaction with the internal team:
- Passing the collected information to the system analyst.
- Participation in the formation of technical requirements.
- Support to PM, system analyst, sales and BDM during the implementation.
- Participation in UAT and validation logic.
Competencies:
- Experience with physical security systems, PSIM or integration projects.
- Strong process analysis and documentation skills.
- Understanding of VMS, ACS, security and fire systems, integration protocols.
- Ability to propose process optimization and ensure consulting.
