A Business Analyst at Weltrade is a strategic thinker and problem-solver responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the payment system domain. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the payment system aligns with the company’s overall objectives and delivers value to customers, and the proceess of payment system integration is smooth and clear.

What do we expect from a Business Analyst?

We expect a Business Analyst to possess a understanding of payment systems, best practices, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable processes. They should be proficient in data analysis, process modeling, and integration requirements gathering. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

What a Business Analyst will do:

• Elicit and Document Requirements: Gather and document detailed business requirements for payment system integration, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Process Mapping and Analysis: Analyze existing payment processes, identify pain points, and develop process maps to optimize efficiency.
• System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of payment systems with other company systems.
• Data Analysis: Analyze payment data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Testing and Validation: Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure payment system functionality and performance.
• Project Management: Contribute to project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful implementation.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to manage expectations and resolve issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the payment system.

Additional Requirements

• English language skills: Intermediate +
• Strong Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience as BA, preferably in IT/Fintech companies
