Business Analyst in IT SmartFlex

IT SmartFlex is a Ukrainian product company that started its activities in 2019 as a subsidiary of the leading mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine with the goal of uniting experts in the fields of telecommunications and software.

Our goal is to develop and deepen our own IT expertise. We create cutting-edge design solutions for the telecom industry and develop high-quality products for millions of mobile users.

Functional Responsibilities:

- Discovery , collection, analysis, formalization, coordination of requirements for software products
—Communication with the customer, coordination of requirements and specifications
—Collection of necessary data from third-party systems for integration (specifications, test data, work requests)
—Describing business needs, user requirements, functional and non-functional requirements
—Keeping requirements and specifications up to date
—Clarifying requirements to the development team
—Assisting in creating a product backlog, describing acceptance criteria, mockup design, participation in product demonstrations
—Participation in planning and evaluation of development tasks
—Participation in acceptance of implemented tasks by the development team

Necessary skills:

— 3 years of experience as a system or business analyst
—Experience identifying and documenting requirements for information systems
—Understanding different types requirements: business, user, functional, non-functional
—Understanding the processes of identification, classification, approval and support of requirements changes
—Skills to analyze subject areas and propose solutions
—Understanding the principles of software development, experience of interaction with by the development team
— Knowledge of the best practices of business analysis (BABoK)
— Familiarity with modern approaches in software development (Lean, Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
— Understanding of the principles of creating product interfaces (UX/ UI)
— Mastery of techniques and notations: UML, BPMN, Use Cases, User Story, Mind Maps
— Understanding of the working principles of REST, SOAP
— Ability to formulate requirements for API development, understanding of specifications ( Swagger)
— Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.)
— Have system, conceptual, visual thinking skills
Will be a plus: — Telecom domain knowledge.
