FAVBET Tech does not organize and conduct gambling on its platform. Its main focus is software development.​

About project:

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Broadcast/Video Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain a scalable video streaming server
• Support and extend an existing ffmpeg-based encoding service with migrated parts to
  gstreamer
• Support and extend/develop an existing web player
• Code performance optimization
• Support and extend/develop event-based handler for video mixer
• Develop high-quality, scalable software.
• Write clean, well-documented code according to coding standards and best practices
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing functionality, including bug fixes,
  performance optimization, and troubleshooting of production issues
• Participate in incident response activities as needed to keep the production stable
  and reliable.
• Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge by learning new technologies,
  tools, and techniques.
• Monitor and take responsibility for software non-functional metrics.
  
  Requirements:
• Professional experience with Typescript/Javascript
• Experience with ffmpeg
• Solid knowledge of Video streaming via RTMP / mpegts+srt / RTP / WebRTC / HLS
• Basic knowledge of algorithms and their complexity
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban

Would be an advantage

• Professional experience with C++
• Experience with gstreamer
• Encoding experience
• Knowledge of video codecs and containers
• Understanding networking: multicast, backpressure, socket buffers, slow client issue
• Experience with Docker
• Understanding basic hdmi, sdi principles
• Experience with sdi muxing and capture (blackmagic equipment experience is plus)
• Understanding of video camera usage basics
• Understanding sound processing basics (taskam equipment experience is plus)
