The British design office Independent Design House, with a Polish branch in Krakow, specializing in the design of building structures (steel, reinforced concrete, wooden) and specialized temporary structures (Temporary Works), is looking for specialists to work as

Bridge Designer.

• Remuneration system : fixed base salary + performance bonus
• Contract type: employment contract, B2B contract

Responsibilities

• Development of infrastructure projects at various stages design from the feasibility stage, concept through executive designs to design support during construction,
• Cooperation with engineers in Poland and abroad
• Preparation of models and analytical calculations of various types of bridge structures along with reports calculations, descriptions and specifications

Our requirements

• Higher technical education in the field of construction (Bridges and Underground Structures or related)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the implementation of road and railway bridge projects;
• Experience in working with technical documentation, knowledge of the design process
• Ability to effectively organize work time and cooperate in a team.
• Good knowledge of computing programs, e.g. Autodesk Robot, Autodesk Bridge Design or Midas Civil
• Fluent knowledge of English (contact with clients) - CV in English preferred
< li> Knowledge of Idea Statica, Tekla Tedds, GEO5 programs will be an additional advantage
• Experience in an international environment will be an additional advantage
• Design qualifications in the bridge industry will be an additional advantage
