The ideal candidate is collaborative, strategic, able to bring forward creative and disruptive thinking, disciplined, in tune with the consumer and licensor needs, able to create and present ideas with confidence, and brings a depth of experience in marketing, project management and driving measurable results. This role requires both a strong project management background and attention to detail, in addition to the ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams to support the greater goals of the organization. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Brand Manager will work directly with the Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Leadership teams to drive strategy and volume for the company’s brands.Duties and Responsibilities:Drive strategic brand planning & program development across all channels, leading the execution of the marketing plan to ensure effective use of the marketing budgetPartner with Brand Product Manager to create and manage detailed project timelines for each product launch and work with cross-functional teams to ensure all brand deliverables are executed on time and within budgetCollaborate cross functionally with all teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Customer Support) to develop product, packaging, P&Ls, forecasts and go to market strategies. Ensure that products launch successfully and that any risks are identified and resolved in a timely manner.Lead communication with licensor for licensed brands; cultivate a great working relationship with relevant business counterparts at licensor in order to drive the partnership forwardCreate, develop, and deliver regular data-driven category reviews, plans and recommendations for both internal, external and customer-facing useIdentify performance gaps for category including matters related to volume, share, pricing, promotions, shelf-space and product distribution; implement solutions and track, measure, and communicate resultsLead the development and implementation of retailer presentations, as well as launch playbooks that consolidate product launch details, message hierarchy, marketing concept, visual assets, and go-to-market strategySales tracking and analytics of existing and future business for the brand; partner with Sales team to methodically track sales activity and provide regular updates to Executive teamManage the brand marketing budget and own full process of monthly reconciliation in partnership with finance and product teamSupport agency management, including managing weekly status calls to track against broader SOW deliverablesQualifications and Experience:Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience, experience in CPG/food/beverage industryA self-motivated, organized, analytical thinker who works independently, thrives working at a rapid pace, and is comfortable dealing with pivotsResults-driven with an outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and effectivelyAn exceptional communicator. You keep people in the loop and share information through multiple communication channels in a timely fashion. You are willing to be persistent in communicating throughout the organization to get the information you needA person who does what they say they will do when they say they will do it.
