Overview
The 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhets is a military formation of the mechanized troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is located in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. Since 2014, the brigade has participated in the war in the east of Ukraine as part of the ATO/OS forces, in particular, it fought heavy battles on the Russian-Ukrainian border, in the Azov region and near Avdiivka in the industrial zone. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Kyiv. Soldiers of the 72nd OMBr took part in the battles for Irpin, Moschun, Gostomel, Bucha. Since the summer, the brigade has been defending Ukraine in Donbas. The brigade has an honorary name in honor of the Black Zaporozhets, a military formation of the time of the Ukrainian People's Republic.
Responsibilities
- execution of combat missions as part of the unit

Requirements
- age from 18 years
- readiness to work in the zone of active hostilities
- suitability for military service in terms of health and moral and psychological qualities
- secondary, secondary special/higher education
- high level of motivation and stress resistance
- responsibility, attentiveness and ability to make quick decisions
- ability to work in a team
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or service under contract
