Blockchain Developer (Go expertise) in Varteq Inc.

We are an innovative project in the educational business domain, developing a new L1 blockchain solution tailored for the education sector. Our solution is being built as a fork of Ethereum, to leverage blockchain technology for enhanced transparency, security, and efficiency in educational processes.

We are seeking a part-time engineer with expertise in Blockchain and Golang to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in blockchain technologies, specifically with experience in Ethereum, and have the technical skills necessary to develop and maintain our blockchain solution.

What we have to do:

1. Protocol Update:

• Update our current protocol version (currently using POW) to the latest Ethereum version with POS consensus.
• Implement an auto-update feature to ensure our protocol remains aligned with Ethereum’s latest versions.

2. Smart Contract Testing:

• Test and validate smart contracts within our network to ensure functionality, security, and performance.

3. Dual-Token Structure Development:

• Develop a dual-token structure to support our blockchain ecosystem.
• Prepare the project for private sales, ensuring all necessary technical foundations are in place.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Blockchain Expertise: In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, specifically Ethereum.
• Golang Proficiency: Strong experience with Golang for blockchain development.
• Smart Contracts: Proficient in developing and testing smart contracts, particularly ERC-20 tokens.
• Consensus Mechanisms: Experience with both POW and POS consensus mechanisms.
• Project Preparation: Ability to develop and implement a dual-token structure and prepare the project for private sales.
