Technology Lead (Big Data) (Poland, valid work permit in Poland is required)

Role Overview: In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required:

• At least 5-9 years of role experience with a minimum of bachelor’s degree
  
• Strong programming experience in at least one or more technologies in Spark, Scala, SQL, Hive etc.
  
• Having core fundamentals experience of Apache Hadoop components
  
• Understanding best practices for Big Data (in Hadoop), data processing
  
• Strong experience and debugging skills in Java, Hive, and Spark Sql
  
• Deployment experience with Hadoop distributions open source
  
• Other technologies of interest - Kafka, and NoSql Databases
  

Preferred

• Good exposure to Azure or AWS Cloud Platform
  
• Python knowledge
  
• Shell Scripting
  
• Tools/Frameworks
  
• Java, Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Bash, Ksh
