Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Big Data Engineer with expertise in Spark for a remote position based in Poland. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the banking and finance industry and be proficient in various big data technologies.

Technical Requirements:

• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
• 6+ years of code development experience with Spark and SQL
• Strong foundational knowledge of Apache Hadoop components
• Understanding of best practices for Big Data processing in Hadoop
• Proven experience and debugging skills in Java, Hive, and Spark SQL
• Experience with deploying open-source Hadoop distributions
• Familiarity with Scala, Kafka, and NoSQL databases is a plus
