Together with our Head of Engineering Dmytro Shulzhenko, we are looking for a Headway Backend Engineer to join the team, who strives to work in a socially important EdTech product and find answers to complex questions. Stack: Go, Google Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Firebase, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL. Expand and modernize internal products that strengthen the entire Headway ecosystem: new features, analytics, etc. Develop and maintain the existing code base using progressive approaches. Communicate with team members to find ideas and modernize development approaches in the product. Constantly learn, develop and use advanced technologies. We are looking for you if: You have more than 2 years of experience as a Backend Engineer. Preferably with Golang, because this is our main technology. You confidently work with databases (SQL + NoSQL). You know the principles of building highly loaded systems. You have an understanding of Firebase services and Google Cloud/AWS. Do you want to take responsibility and influence the product. You orient yourself in tasks without clear requirements in the fast-paced atmosphere of a startup. We experiment a lot and often don't know how our ideas will work. So you need to be able to offer your solutions and adapt to the situation. You divide the values ​​​​of the command ( SELECT ).
