Backend Developer (Yii2, PHP) in Whales Ventures

We are seeking a Middle-Senior Backend Developer (part-time basis) to work on a project for our partner - a HealthTech platform that offers at-home health and wellness testing. Requirements:Must have:- 2-4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.- Strong Yii2 skills: Proven ability to build and maintain complex web applications using the Yii2 framework.- MySQL expertise: In-depth knowledge of MySQL database schema design, optimization, and querying.- Upper - Intermediate English proficiency for effective communication.As a plus- WordPress VIP & RESTful APIs: Understanding of the WordPress VIP platform and experience designing/consuming RESTful APIs are valued additions.What you will do:- Conduct a deep dive into backend product functionalities leveraging your Yii2 and MySQL expertise.- Familiarize with the WordPress VIP website architecture and its backend integration.- Analyze and troubleshoot reported backend product issues.- Utilize problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop solutions.- Implement code changes and bug fixes to optimize backend functionality.- Collaborate with the client to discuss and implement necessary adjustments or feature enhancements.What are the stages:- Call with a recruiter and a Technical Expert - Google Meet call, 30 mins.- Management call - Google Meet call, 15 minutes.- Job Offer.What’s in it for you:- Opportunity to work with a community of skilled professionals in a growth-oriented environment.- 100% remote and flexible job.
