Web3 Backend Developer (Web3/Nodejs)RareBetSports is seeking a talented and motivated backend developer who is experienced in working on large scale distributed systems.This role will focus on coding in nodejs based framework, and candidates would benefit strongly from having a deep fundamental software development knowledge base.We are building a web3 project and are seeking a passionate and talented backend developer who can join our rapidly growing team.The role is currently remote and you can work from anywhere. You will be responsible for collaborating on projects with the development team. You will be expected to manage various competing deadlines, and projects. Teamwork, problem-solving, accountability, and good communication skills are necessary.What you will be doing:Building web3 backend and integrating with various wallets and smart contractsBuilding a realtime update system that react app will be use to display resultsBuilding complex system that will handle synchronization between offchain and onchain dataIntegrating sports data from third party providersIntegrating with a software development team and working closely with a technical project managerConducting technical due diligence and understanding dynamics/tradeoffs between different software development technologies and approachesWe’re looking for someone who has:Typescript experience requiredStrong engineering fundamentals3+ years of software engineering3+ years of Nodejs or similar development experience1+ years of web3 development experienceStrong familiarity with Linux/Terminal environmentsDepth of knowledge and implementation experienceCreativity in solving problemsBeing open to providing and receiving constructive feedbackPassion for learning and teaching othersCI/CD setup experienceHigh-quality testing standardsGood documentation practicesGood to haveNode.js or other backend development experience.Solidity development experience.Familiarity with docker and/or running servers.SQL/NoSQL experience.Experience working in a distributed remote team.
