Backend Developer (PHP, Laravel) in Jappware

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in PHP and the Laravel framework and a strong command of English. This role involves augmenting our existing team, primarily within the gambling industry and related domains, utilizing AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP and Laravel.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Implement and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and guide junior developers.
• Work with AWS infrastructure for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Strong experience with MySQL, including database design and query optimization.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in the gambling industry or related domains.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and augment existing teams.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other backend technologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Vue.js, React).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
