We are looking for a Back-end Developer to join our team . And yes, we’re looking for an IT nerd who loves coding, new features development, and does it with pleasure. Oh, be sure, all these will do for us!

About the project: The project focused on data security and financial crime prevention. Businesses need real-time insights to stay in control, and our client’s unique database delivers just that. It identifies tens of thousands of risky events daily from millions of data points, helping users assess business risks effectively. You’ll play a key role in empowering users to make informed decisions and safeguard their interests.

You’ll be involved in developing a unified Ingestion Platform to revolutionize their data processing pipeline. This platform will streamline data ingestion, processing, and management, ultimately improving efficiency and data quality for our customers.

FreySoft’s Responsibilities:

— Design and develop a scalable and efficient Unified Ingestion Platform;

— Integrate the platform seamlessly with existing data tools and services;

— Design and incorporate comprehensive observability features for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting;

— Develop and adhere to secure coding practices according to security standards;

— Automate deployment procedures for efficient and reliable updates.

The details:

— the team consists of 3 back-end developers and PM;

— the communication tools: Slack, Jira, GoogleMeet;

— the team working according to Scrum, they have daily meetings, 2-week sprints, monthly retrospectives.

The impact you will make in the role:

• Developing new ingestion platform;
• You will be able to add new features and functionality;
• Improving existing codebase;
• Development using best coding practices;
• Communication with the team;
• Participation in a scrum process, estimations, sprint commitment and retrospective;
• Code review;

Requirements:

Kotlin Proficiency :
— Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and its features.
— Experience with Kotlin in commercial projects.
