General description of the vacancy

The vacancy involves work in the field of IT infrastructure maintenance and the provision of advisory services regarding what to do in the systems and software complexes used in the Ministry of Education, namely, we are looking for a qualified administrator Azure, which will be responsible for the management and support of IT infrastructure components operating on the Microsoft Azure platform. 

ONLY for reserve officers with the signing of a contract before the announcement of the decision on demobilization and appointment to a position in one of the MOU units.

Main functions

• participation in the design of cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform in accordance with the business needs of the organization
• configuration and management of IT infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform
• deployment, configuration and support of cloud services and services, including but not limited to the following: virtual machines, virtual networks, data storage and management services, databases, containers, specialized platform services
• configuration and management of identification and access services (Entra ID Roles, Azure RBAC, PIM)
• monitoring of infrastructure operation, identification and resolution of problems.
• technical audit of existing solutions and formulation of optimization recommendations

• ensuring security settings in accordance with Azure infrastructure security best practices, requirements of existing organizational policies and government/departmental regulatory requirements
• developing and implementing data backup and recovery strategies
< li>advising internal customers on the capabilities of the Azure platform to implement business needs and optimal use of cloud technologies to achieve their business goals
• documenting architectural solutions and keeping documentation up-to-date
• writing instructions for administrators and service users
• providing technical support to service users and consulting on the use and configuration of Azure resources

Main requirements

• experience of planning, designing, implementing and supporting cloud services based on Microsoft Azure for at least 2 years
• deep knowledge of Azure platform tools (Entra ID, Azure Network Services, Azure Compute Services, Azure PaaS Service, Azure Monitor, Azure Recovery Services, Azure Security)
• ability to work with PowerShell and Azure CLI to perform cloud resource management tasks and automate routine tasks
• level of English language proficiency: fluent reading and understanding complex technical texts, the ability to conduct email communication and verbal technical discussions with foreign partners
• skills in documenting technical solutions
• skills in writing quality instructions

• preferably - the presence of Microsoft Azure certification - AZ-103/AZ-104
• preferably - the ability to work with architectural patterns, such as Infrastructure asCode (IaC) using automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins) or Azure Devops/Github
• preferred - skills and experience using PowerBI to build reports related to the Azure platform
• preferred - knowledge of state standards in the field of information protection or international information security standards (ISO/IEC 27001)
• desirable - experience in applying state standards in the field of information protection in the construction of cloud solutions
• desirable - participation in the implementation of the information security management system in the organization (ISO/IEC 27001)
• preferably - having experience, knowledge of tools or AWS certification

Conditions

• Military service under contract, all types of military support, office in the center of Kyiv (5/2 9-18), official housing is not provided
• Money support from 32 to UAH 37,000, depending on the tariff category, position, rank and years of service
