This includes three major streams of work: upgrading to the latest version of MX 3.1, migrating from a legacy Sybase deployment to Postgres and migrating from on-premises infrastructure into public cloud.Luxoft requires a Postgres architect with extensive experience in migrating to AWS Postgres implementations to lead the database migration stream.You will be working in a high performing team of Luxoft and Client staff to deliver on this multi-phase and complex migration.Responsibilities:• Architecting the AWS RDS Postgres based environment• Leading the database migration stream of the project and working closely with the Murex reporting SMEs on the project• Migrating existing custom SQL from Sybase to Postgres• Validating the post-migration reporting that runs on top of SQL queries• Technical analysis of changes, solution design, development and unit testing• Participate in fixing production and test defects• End to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Business Analysts and Testing teamMandatory Skills Description:• 7+ years working as a database administrator / architect• Extensive experience in working with Postgres in an AWS environment, specifically using RDS• Experience in migrating from Sybase to Postgres• Experience in automating RDS Postgres operations including backups, data migrations and imports• AWS migration experience focused on data migrations between database technologies• Financial services experienceNice-to-Have Skills:• Experience in migrating from Sybase to Postgres• Understanding of Murex reporting and Datamart is a significant bonusLanguages:English: C1 Advanced Show more Show less Посадовий рівень Старший середній рівень Тип зайнятості Повний робочий день Посадові обов’язки Інформаційні технології Галузі ІТ-послуги та ІТ Консалтинг
