AWS Engineer in UST Ukraine

Requirements:

• Python development experience using boto3 with AWS Services including developing and deploying Lambda functions
• Experience with AWS core services such as S3, EC2, RDS, KMS, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECR, ECS, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, EventBridge
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code — Terraform mainly but also CloudFormation
• Experience with modern DevOps tooling (preferably GitHub, GitHub Actions but perhaps Azure DevOps, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins)
• Experience with unit, integration, and system testing and associated frameworks, such as pytest
• Knowledge of AWS Landing Zones: Control Tower, AWS Organizations, SCPs, IAM, AWS Config, VPCs, Networking, SecurityHub, AWS SSO
• Skills in configuration management and scripting for Linux — BASH scripting, Ansible or similar
• Strong Infra knowledge — Linux Administration, Virtualisation, Database, Networks, Storage, Windows.
• Understanding of PaaS, Infra-as-Code, Compliance-as-Code, and when/how to use & enable

Responsibilities:

• Creating AWS Landing Zone controls using AWS Control Tower, AWS Config, AWS IAM, AWS Organizations/SCPs, AWS Identity Center, AWS Service Catalog
• Deploying Landing Zone infrastructure using IaC Terraform and CloudFormation
• Developing singular Lambda functions in Python for AWS Config to evaluate and remediate AWS resources
• Developing Lambda functions for alerting, monitoring and dashboards
• Evaluating new AWS Services for security compliance and introducing appropriate controls
• Building IaC DevOps pipelines using GitHub Actions — scripting
• Troubleshooting developer issues with AWS services
• Maintaining EKS PaaS service and SageMaker machine learning platform
