"Dron" is an independent European media in Russian, founded in the summer of 2022. The publication was created by journalists who work according to the strictest professional and ethical standards. First of all, we write about Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus for those reading news in Russian outside the Russian Federation; in Russia itself, access to our site is limited. But for Russians too - many read us via VPN. Responsibilities: Generating ideas for explanatory materials from the region that Drone covers. Coordination of topics with the editor-in-chief, writing materials; Searching for interlocutors for interviews on current topics in the region covered by Dron, primarily in Ukraine. Negotiations for interviews with public opinion leaders, their assistants, press services; Writing interviews; Editing materials and interviews with freelancers; Duplicating published materials on social networks, primarily in Telegram and X (Twitter). Requirements: Perfect Russian language, allowing you to independently and high-quality writing, publishing materials and interviews; Good command of the Ukrainian language is desirable; Knowledge of English is desirable at a level that allows quoting Western news agencies and other media (Reuters, POLITICO, The Washington Post, etc.); Portfolio of materials and interviews in high quality media published in the region (in Russian, Ukrainian); Perfect knowledge of the political situation in Ukraine, the development of Russia’s war against Ukraine. A good knowledge of events in Ukraine in 2014-2020 is also desirable; The ideal candidate also has a good understanding of the political and economic situation in other countries covered by Dron, primarily Belarus, Russia and Moldova; Share the values ​​of Dron; Flexibility and desire to learn and grow professionally.
