Asylum Support Consultant (SSSM) in Region Karpat, MFOZNS / NEEKA

The Ministry of Emergency Situations "Carpathian Region" announces a competition for the position of a consultant for the asylum support department (Monitor of the SSSM) in the Chernivtsi region and in the city of Chernivtsi under the project "Providing assistance in matters of protection, as well as basic needs and housing for IDPs, refugees, returnees and persons, victims of the war in Ukraine»Requirements: - intermediate level of English; - work experience in the social sphere; - higher education; Responsibilities: - monitor the observance of the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons on a permanent basis in given locations according to the existing methodology;- to carry out regular monitoring of the places of stay of IDPs and provide advisory assistance; - visit state bodies that serve IDPs, places of compact settlement of IDPs, activities aimed at IDPs, etc. - communicate with representatives of government institutions and non-governmental organizations in order to collect information about the humanitarian situation in general. - to provide consulting support and individual assistance to IDPs.
