ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionManage local controllership function and smooth financial operations for the NIQ Ukraine BusinessEnsure adequate performance and reporting on the intercompany transactions and reconciliationsEnsure compliance with all relevant statutory local regulations & tax mattersEnsure compliance with NIQ global, regional or local policies, procedures and guidelinesDrive change locally with regard to standardization and simplification initiatives as governed by the Global or Regional COE core teams or by Finance leadershipCarrying out financial reporting month closing activities in SAP/EPM and ensuring accuracy & timeliness in monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting in accordance with corporate requirements for the local marketReview & sign-off of Monthly Account Reconciliations on global tools & carrying out periodic review of Balance Sheet to identify, report & mitigate any financial risk to the company Act as the principal custodian of the internal controls and SOX documentation and ensure effective control environment through active coordination with the Group Controller and the Global and Regional COE core teams Act as the main point of contact for banking operations, auditors, tax consultants & Authorities (stat/ tax bodies) Manage local statutory accounting & tax accounting to ensure ongoing compliance with local statutory & tax regulations for the local legal entityOther ad hoc requests and those related to accounting & reportingThe scope of responsibilities listed above cannot be treated as exhaustive and remains at the discretion of the Manager while kept within your professional competence and working schedule.QualificationsUniversity degree (finance, accounting, business, or related field) Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Chief Accountant in Ukrainian company Native Ukrainian native speaker and strong Business English knowledge, both verbal and written Knowledge of IFRS, Ukrainian GAAP and tax regulations (incl.
