At the moment, we are looking for an assistant communications coordinator. This person will help cover the fund's activities in the territory in various media and work directly with the beneficiaries of the project.

Job tasks:

  • In close contact with the Communications Coordinator, identify success stories among beneficiaries, plan site visits to various regions for interviews (Chernihiv, Kharkiv , Dnipro, Poltava, Odesa, Sumy and not only)
  • Conduct visits to predetermined beneficiaries and collect relevant information (testimony) together with communication materials (photos, videos), as this is defined in the relevant FCA instructions
  • Preparation and participation in the finalization of communication materials under the guidance of the Communications Coordinator.
  • Assist in the management FCA social networks - Facebook and Instagram.
  • Keep track of all notes, interviews and photo/video files.
  • Maintain development of a media campaign and other necessary materials for project visualization in cooperation with the project manager and the Communications Coordinator.
  • Assist in finding, writing and editing content including photos and videos for distribution.

Requirements for candidates:

EDUCATION: BA in journalism, international development, and/or any other relevant field

LANGUAGES: Excellent command of Ukrainian and English

EXPERIENCE:- At least 1 year of relevant journalism or communications experience.- Prior communications experience in a humanitarian organization preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.< /span>
  • Photography and videography, graphic design is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexibility.< /li>
  • Knowledge of computer programs, in particular, knowledge of MS Office, Google docs is required.
  • Knowledge of programs for working with design, photos and videos software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, Final Cut Pro) and content management systems are a plus.
  • Proven experience using various social media platforms or a strong desire to learn.
