BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), persons affected by war, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, persons at increased risk of statelessness and persons without documents. Since the beginning of the military invasion in Eastern Ukraine, the Foundation has been monitoring the situation of IDP rights protection, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Today, the Foundation works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides administrative, technical and organizational support to the chief expert on coordinating the protection of IDPs and affected population in the implementation of program activities. Supports planning and reporting processes, prepares materials for work meetings and reports, processes program requests, redirections and appeals of beneficiaries. Supports internal and external communication of the program.

OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative and technical support for the IDP protection and the daily management of the program.

  • Preparation of materials and support of work meetings (agenda, presentations, reference materials, protocols, summaries).

  • Participation in the preparation of internal reports.

  • and external program requests.

  • Control of receipt, accounting and support of appeals and redirections of beneficiaries at the program level.

  • Organization of trips and business trips within program activities.

  • Performance of other administrative and technical tasks within the framework of implementation of program activities on behalf of the chief expert.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education (social sciences, humanities, management or related fields).

  • At least 1 year of experience in humanitarian projects.

  • Experience of cooperation with international donors.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to structure large amounts of information.

  • Experience in preparing reports, analytical notes, presentations.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Understanding humanitarian principles, mainstreaming protection standards, PSEA and accountability to affected populations.

  • Good communication skills, courtesy and diplomacy.

  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language.

  • Working level of English language proficiency.
