Assistant system administrator (student) in RESK

We are a young IT company related to computer technologies. We maintain and repair computer and other equipment, configure programs, provide technical and service support. We install and service video surveillance, alarm and access control systems. We configure Asterisk SIP telephony. We refill cartridges and repair printers. We create local computer networks, lay cables. We create and maintain web sites.

We are looking for a student-assistant system administrator to join our team. 

If you are not afraid of physical work (lifting and carrying a printer, computer or server, or a ladder in one hand and a cable in the other), you are not afraid of constant rapid changes in the environment (we often do not sit in the office, every day we go to various offices of our clients or to various stores for the purchase of computer spare parts), if your feet do not hurt when walking for a long time (half of the clients' offices are located within a 20-minute walk from the subway, you have to walk a lot) and at the same time you are not afraid of getting dirty in change of clothes (run a cable in a dirty basement) or in the attic, make holes in the wall with a perforator, or get contaminated with toner when refilling cartridges, clean dust and dirt from computers and servers) - then we are waiting for your resume, even if it is small and without work experience .

Working conditions:

• if full-time, then from 09:00 to 18:00, Monday-Friday.
• if not full-time, or several days a week, then of course the schedule will be different, and will be discussed at the interview
• trips with the team for installation work (assistance in installing video cameras, alarms and intercoms, cable laying, etc.)
• trips to client offices (assistance in computer maintenance, laptops, servers, software settings, etc.)
• work in the office (assistance in repairing and adjusting equipment, refilling cartridges, assistance in filling and creating websites, maintaining Instagram)
• shopping trips , suppliers of equipment and consumables (pick up spare parts for repairing equipment, computer parts from warehouses or stores)

Your future tasks (as you study):

• help directly the main system administrator, carry out his assignments and tasks
• work in a team with other employees
• refill cartridges, repair printers
• work with sites (filling with information)
• working with Instagram (filling with information)
• learning and taking control tests
• configuration, repair and maintenance of computer (laptops, servers, computers, network equipment) and office equipment (printer, scanner) in the office and at the company's clients'
• selection and purchase of equipment, components and spare parts
• reception and execution of applications from clients locally and remotely via the Internetadvising clients on technical issues, drawing up instructions
• reporting on the work performed
• participating in the installation of video surveillance systems, intercoms, access control systems and computer networks

You must have minimal knowledge:

• Windows (what it is, how to install, how to configure for a comfortable works)

• antiviruses (virus removal, system cleaning)
• computer hardware (what is a video card, motherboard, RAM, processor)
• computer networks (what is an ethernet cable, ip address)
