GENERAL INFORMATION

BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a sector leader in the protection of people who have suffered from war, veterans, refugees and stateless persons. We seek recovery and integration for those we help. Our team protects people's rights and influences laws and decisions in Ukraine and the world to become fairer. We are actively developing a network of partners for localized support of those who need it. The fund is 13 years old. Today, the team of BF "Right to Defense" has about 1,200 specialists. Geography: 22 regions of Ukraine, as well as a representative office in Poland. More than 3,300,000 people have received aid since the start of the full-scale invasion. Our work was recognized at the national level: in 2024, the Foundation won the first place in the "Charity Ukraine" competition in the "All-Ukrainian charity" category, entered the top 10 of the Forbes Ukraine rating of "50 best charitable organizations" and took 9th place in the integrity rating of charitable foundations of Ukraine. Resilience of First Responders" is aimed at protecting and supporting the rights of internally displaced persons, war-affected populations, stateless persons, as well as veterans and their families at the national, local and individual levels. In 2026, the Fund, as part of the project, will monitor the protection of the rights of IDPs and provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons, stateless persons, veterans and their families in the regions of Ukraine.

The geography of activity includes the Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. The territory of implementation may change depending on the security situation and the needs of the project.

The project is looking for an Assistant in the procurement department in the city of Kyiv.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT POSITION

"Right to protection" in the field of procurement, in particular, but not limited to the following:

  • Support of senior procurement specialists in the performance of their duties, assistance in daily tasks.
  • Procurement according to tender procedures, complying with the requirements of the Fund's Policy.
  • Monitoring of the supplier market: research of new suppliers of goods and services, comparison of offers, tracking of market trends.
  • Preparation and updating of the supplier database: regular updating of data on suppliers, including contacts, terms of cooperation, purchase history.
  • Maintenance and processing of correspondence of the department procurement, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of materials.
  • Maintenance of procurement archives: ensuring proper archiving of all documents and reports from past tenders and procurement processes.
  • Preparation of powers of attorney and control their timely dispatch and receipt.
  • Participation in audits: assistance in the preparation and conduct of internal and external audits of procurement procedures, cooperation with auditors.
  • Performance of other tasks as assigned by the manager for ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement department.
  • Adherence to the R2P Code of Conduct.

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement, administration or other relevant field;
  • Ability to analyze materials and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work closely with team members style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Self-motivation;
  • Responsibility;
  • Initiative, creativity, flexibility;
  • Ability to set priorities, initiative and independence in the performance of assigned tasks;
  • Ability to negotiate, agree on the best terms of cooperation, defend the interests of the organization regarding better, fair and open procurement conditions;
  • Understanding and ensuring the best procurement conditions regarding shipping, delivery, assembly and packaging of orders, an additional plus will be experience in procurement of repair work and provision of building materials.
