Assistant in the department of cash assistance and food security programs/Food Security & Livelihoods/Cash and Voucher Assistance in Save the Children

Save the Children International — a humanitarian organization with more than 100 years of history. Save the Children was founded in May 1919 in London. SCI has been working in Ukraine since 2014. It started its work in the territory of Donetsk region. Currently, SCI is expanding its activities to eight cities of Ukraine, and Kharkiv is one of them. We work in the areas of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and also carry out advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights.

We are currently looking for Assistant in the Department of Cash Assistance and Food Security Programs.  The person in this positionwill play a key role in the successful implementation of the Food Security and Livelihoods and Cash Voucher Project, which is a key component of the Save the Children Ukraine Response. This dynamic position requires working closely with various departments and partners to ensure seamless project support. He/she will be responsible for assisting Save the Children staff in identifying vulnerable households, conducting assessments, registering project participants, working at distribution sites and providing assistance throughout the project as needed.

• Proficient Microsoft Excel experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with groups of refugees and demonstrate respect and sensitivity
• Ability to establish professional relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work in a team and perform tasks as needed throughout the project implementation phase.
