Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence in Internacionalniy Legion

Overview

The International Legion is a military unit within the Ground Forces, in which military volunteers with citizenship of other countries serve. The part was created by the Government of Ukraine at the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi to combat Russia's invasion of Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Responsibilities

• analysis of the current operational situation and development of plans for intelligence operations
• determination of strategies and tactics of intelligence missions to collect intelligence information or perform special tasks
• selection of optimal methods of information gathering and determination of the necessary equipment
• organization and management of the work of intelligence groups
• processing and analysis of received intelligence information to determine strategies and tactics for further actions of the unit , informing and reporting to the command
• studying and analyzing innovative approaches, the latest intelligence technologies and methods for their implementation in order to increase the efficiency of operations
• interaction with other units within the unit and other military units to ensure coordination and achievement of set goals
• ensuring the reliability and security of intelligence data and means of communication

Requirements

• military rank of officer staff
• experience and understanding of battalion headquarters
• understanding of combat organization in the Armed Forces
• knowledge of specialized software
• confident computer user and office programs, in particular, Word, Excel
• suitability for military service in terms of health and moral and psychological qualities
• motivation to learn, the ability to master new approaches, knowledge, abilities and skills in practice
• self-discipline and stress resistance
• lack of criminal records
• communication skills, organizational skills, ability to work in a team and implement plans in practice in a combat zone
• military service and combat experience would be an advantage
• English or Spanish language skills would be an advantage
