Assistant Chief of Staff for Artillery in Internacionalniy Legion

Overview

The International Legion is a military unit within the Ground Forces, in which military volunteers with citizenship of other countries serve. The part was created by the Government of Ukraine at the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi to combat Russia's invasion of Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Responsibilities

• holding classes on the combat use of artillery, training and control classes with personnel
• checking the organization and state of combat training of artillery units, elimination of identified deficiencies and assistance to unit commanders in organizing and conducting training
• equipping artillery units with weapons, combat and other equipment, responsibility for their operation and timely repair
• constant monitoring of the readiness of the material part to combat use, its timely and high-quality preparation for firing
• control of the readiness of artillery units to perform assigned tasks
• control of artillery fire during the execution of combat tasks by the unit

• experience of service in artillery units
• military rank of the officer corps
• experience and understanding of the work of the battalion headquarters
• understanding combat organization in the Armed Forces
• knowledge of specialized software
• confident user of a computer and office programs, in particular, Word, Excel
• suitability for military service based on health and moral and psychological qualities
• motivation to learn, the ability to master new approaches, knowledge, skills and abilities in practice
• self-discipline and stress resistance
• absence of criminal records < /li>
• communication, organizational skills, ability to work in a team and put plans into practice in a combat zone
• experience of military service and combat experience will be an advantage
• command of English or Spanish languages ​​will be an advantage

Conditions

• service under the contract
• financial support according to the norms of the current legislation
• possibility transfer of active military personnel only within the borders of the Ground Forces with the consent of the immediate commander
