Aid distribution specialist in Malteser Relief Service

Position title: "Help distribution specialist"

"Maltese Aid Service" started its work in Ukraine in December 1990 in Lviv as part of winter humanitarian aid from Germany, and on February 23, 1993, on the initiative of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and the German Maltese Relief Service, the Charity Organization "Maltese Relief Service in Lviv" was registered. Almost simultaneously, a branch was founded in Ivano-Frankivsk (Prykarpattia), later in Berehovo and Mukachevo (Transcarpathia), and in the capital city of Kyiv. In 2013, the centers merged into the Maltese Aid Service of Ukraine.

The main areas of the organization's activities are assistance to children in need, low-income needy elderly persons, disabled people who travel in wheelchairs, persons with special needs, children and mothers in crisis situations.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in the field of project management, human rights protection, international relations and other social sciences or in a related field, or successful experience in project activities;
• Experience in the position - at least 1 year;
• Experience in international and Ukrainian non-governmental organizations and projects financed by foreign donors will be an advantage;
• Ability to work for results in multitasking conditions;
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office package and other relevant software (especially MS Excel).

Languages: Ukrainian - fluent; English - the required level is not lower than Intermediate

Main duties and tasks:

• Daily communication with partner organizations on project implementation issues;

• Organization, management of the project's internal and external document flow in accordance with the document flow rules developed in the project. 
• Organization of timely collection of information and documents from partner organizations
• Maintenance of online project folders in an up-to-date state, control of complete project documentation. 
• Administration of project documentation (drafting of documents, updating, verification, support of coordination) and control of its implementation.   
• Monitoring visits to each project location followed by preparation of reports on achievement of project performance indicators and recommendations for improvement. 
• Assistance in the preparation of project reports
• Compliance with the policies and procedures of BO "Maltese Aid Service" at a high level
• Other tasks and functions according to the job description.
