In Ukraine, REACH is hosted by our sisterorganisation,ACTED.Present in Ukraine since 2014, REACHhasscaled up its activities following the escalation of the conflictinFebruary 2022.REACHis working across the country to provide humanitarian actors with rigorous data and in-depth analysis to ensure aid interventions aretimely,appropriate, and relevant.As part of this, the Humanitarian Infrastructure and Damage Unit (HIDU) analyses theshort- and long-term humanitarianimpact of conflict-related damage to the built and natural environments,identifiesand tackles knowledge gaps, and supports the humanitarian community andnationalauthorities in addressing the immediate consequences of the conflict and informing a sustainable and climate-sensitive recovery.In this context, IMPACTseeksto recruit an experienced Assessment Officer to engage in aprojectsupporting local stakeholders in conflict-impacted areas to design and implementlocalisedhumanitarian and early recovery initiatives. Within this project, implemented in close collaboration with various IMPACT units and external stakeholders, the Assessment Officer will provide comprehensive support in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and visualization pertaining to infrastructure damage, war-induced contamination, environmental hazards, and other topics, in support oflocalisedhumanitarian and early recoveryefforts.Inaddition to technical skills in data collection and analysis, the ideal candidate will possess good communication skills and experience in facilitation and stakeholder engagement.RequirementsUniversity level education in social sciences, political sciences,researchor relevant field.At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in data collection and/or report writing and or drafting of analyticalproductsAt least 1 year of experience in working with local authorities and NGOs in humanitarian/developmentcontextPrior professional experience with Adobe products (InDesign in particular)preferredStrong skills in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Power PointUnderstanding and familiarity with structures of datasets and frequency tablesPreviousexperience in managing complex professionalrelationshipsFluency in Ukrainian and Russianand good command of English (at least Intermediate level B1)Good organizational, communicationandinterpersonal skills.Experience in stakeholder engagement, facilitation,presentationsandcapacitybuilding activities.Ability to think creatively in terms of process development and optimization.Flexibility,adaptability to ever-changing needs and responsibilities, and ability to work independently.Attention to detail,criticalthinkingand problem-solving skills.ConditionsOfficial employment according to Ukrainianlegislation;Competitive official salary defined by the ACTED salarygrid;Regular performance evaluation and salaryincrease;28 working days of paid vacation peryear;Friendly international team ofprofessionals;Cozy office in the central part of the city; Career development possibilities;How to apply:Applications only in English should be submitted with the title or reference of the position (CV without mentioned position will not be considered).
