What are we looking for?

We are now strengthening our team and we`re looking for a dynamic and motivated Area Planning MSBH Network to join our Team in Gliwice and Warszawa! If you are creative, innovative, always keeping an eye open on what is happening around, then take this challenge and come & meet us!

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in telecommunicaton or a similar field.

• Process knowledge of multi service backhaul network planning (fibre, IP, xWDM)

• Knowledge of the planning specifications in the telecommunications sector

• Knowledge of handling geographical coordinates

• Familiarization with software that is used in Telefónica Germany Higher Layer Planning e.g. usage of the following tools (list not conclusive): MS-Office incl. Visio, iQ.Link, APT software, platform X:Akta software, UTS software, Net-Site / Digis / Net-Site DSM Software Platform

• Experience with agile methods like Scrum and Spotify

• German and English knowledge

Your key responsibilities:

• Ensure the achievement of the currently valid nationwide fibre strategy for ALPHA and FTTS w

ithin the area of responsibility.

• Analyse the specific ALPHA and FTTS-POC expansion requirements.

• Develop feasible network concepts with locally and regionally active carriers.

• Create and edit link or site projects in Telefónica’s planning tools (e.g., ISD, fibre, site projects,..)

• Develop network modernization concepts (layer 2/3 network area).

• Request and agree on infrastructure site solutions with NRG partner.

• Develop high level design for IP/WDM hardware (layer 2/3) and order them to the hardware vendor.

• Approve workpacks from hardware vendors

• Solve tasks from POC and MAC clusters if necessary, with other partners involved.

• Edit or correct routing information e.g., plan routes

• Analysis and resolution of missing preconditions for RAN rollout

• Improving processes

• Interworking in MAC/POC-Squads
