Job DescriptionRuss Berger Design Group is seeking a highly motivated individual with five-plus years of experience in architectural design to join our growing team of professionals. This position will be primarily work-from-home in the Dallas, Texas area, allowing for in-person meetings with team members and clients.The ideal candidate will have skills and interests applied to some balance of the following areas:Architectural Documentation: Programming, detailing, CAD and Revit production, specification writing, document review, drawing coordination, submittal reviewProject Management: Scheduling, client interface, billing, coordination of production effortsArchitectural and Interior Design: Project concepts, space planning, integration of architecture and acoustics, interior designTechnical Development: Research, data collection/field surveys, data summary, and documentationAdministration: Database and library management, development of in-house standards, relationships with manufacturers and vendorsTravel: Client meetings, construction site visits, and testingCompany DescriptionRuss Berger Design Group is a specialty consulting firm that combines expertise in acoustics, architecture and interiors to create recording studios; radio and television broadcast stations; facilities for entertainment and media content, audio, film and post-production; technical learning environments for higher education; screening rooms and private theaters; and corporate production spaces for audio and video.Since 1990, RBDG has successfully completed more than 3500 projects across the United States and multiple foreign locations. Our clients look to RBDG for creative solutions to complex projects.How You Best Meet The Needs Of This PositionYou have experience delivering all aspects of a project – technical design and analysis, document production, contracts, client care, financial management, and team leadership. You demonstrate a robust understanding of the architectural design and construction process, and are able to interpret and understand architectural, mechanical, and structural construction documents. You have a track record of evaluating and developing solutions for architectural problems. You apply your background and rigorous analytical skills to align technical performance requirements to each project’s needs. You understand the multidisciplinary nature of acoustic consulting work, and can coordinate our efforts with a variety of design team members. You competently manage shop drawing review, construction team communications, and contract administration in support of the construction phase of projects.
