Job description Our client, one of the leading Construction and Development companies in Cyprus, responsible for many of the island's landmark developments, is looking for an Architect to join their team and will be based in Limassol. Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the site supervision activities related to the architectural and interior design works of the projects, perform inspections to deliver quality instillations in accordance with the contract documents, relevant standards and requirements. Job Duties Communication with the client for their needs regarding changes Responsible for delivery of units to the clients Responsible for compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, changes etc. Review work of contractor, verifying specified materials are being used, dimensions are as drawn and the quality is according to the contract documents. Communication with clients and suppliers Liasing with the main contractor and subcontractors – dealing with on-site issues. On-site supervision Prepare and present designs, specifications, estimated costs and proposed construction schedule. Assisting the Architectural Project Manager on the day-to-day work. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements Bachelors Degree in Architecture required, Masters preferred At least 5 years of relevant work experience. Previous client facing experience. Previous experience in undertaking site inspections. Previous experience in reviewing shop drawings and material acceptance. Previous experience in co-ordinating multidisciplined consultants Previous experience with acting as a liaison with Cypriot authorities. Member of ETEK Fluent in Greek and English, written and spoken. Extremely proficient with computer aided design (CAD) and Microsoft software. Excellent problem solving, negotiations and consultation skills. Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references such as drawings or models. Ability to think outside of the box for resolution of on-site issues.
