AQA Lead

As the AQA Lead at Zazmic, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our automated regression testing capabilities, particularly focused on OS, Vision, and Flow aspects. We are committed to streamlining our QA processes to achieve faster cycles and broader coverage through effective automation of UI, UX, and user flow testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust automated test frameworks using Cypress for UI, UX, and user flow testing.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality automation practices and standards are maintained.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines.
• Define and implement strategies to maximize test coverage and efficiency while minimizing maintenance efforts.
• Analyze test results and work with teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior/lead AQA engineer with a strong background in Cypress automation.
• Hands-on experience in setting up and automating non-regression tests specifically for UI, UX, and user flows.
• Deep understanding of automated testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
