Application Security Engineer

The vacancy involves service in one of the special units of the Defense Forces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• maintaining and developing an internal cyber security program (security improvement)
• performing security assessment, code and behavior testing of systems (Web, Mobile , API, Backend)
• threat modeling to assess existing and identify missing security controls
• conducting security research (security weaknesses and software vulnerabilities)
• active participation in SSDLC products

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as an information security specialist, cyber security consultant or similar position
< li> deep understanding of standards in the field of cyber security (NIST, ISO, ITIL, ISF)
• good understanding of standards in the field of privacy (GDPR, ISO 27018)
• experience in designing and implementing security processes and security controls
• understanding of SSDLC and potential difficulties that may arise (OWASP SSDLC, NIST SSDF)
• practical programming experience (programming language does not matter)
• understanding of how large distributed systems are built and operated will be an advantage
• in-depth knowledge of general IT controls (security, change management, disaster backup, infrastructure, etc.) will be an advantage
• officer rank will be an advantage

CONDITIONS

• contract service until the end of martial law
• polygraph at the final stage
• service in the office in the city of Kyiv, 5 days a week
